Had this problem today, I have to figure out the parent child relationship between people soft records. In PeopleSoft database we have lot of records which have parent child relationship, given a record namei have to choose all the child records. Using this information we can craft the following query to get all the child record a child record should have all the keys of parent and should have one more key.

Seems like its missing making sure all keys of Parent exist in the children tables. Any followup0 would be greatly appreciate.
Tried the new SQL. Seems to still be producing bad results. Also its actually missing some records that I know are in fact children, same 3 keys as parent with at least 1 more key. If your tired of dealing witgh this I totally understand. Still its seems to be a very tough nut to crack.
Thanks for all yoru help so far and no worries if you cant afford spend anymore time here. You are commenting using your WordPress. You are commenting using your Google account. Parent Child Relationship in Peoplesoft Records Had this problem today, I have to figure out the parent child relationship between people soft records. To get all the Keys for a given record in peoplesoft we can use this query. Rate this:. Share this: Twitter Facebook. Using function peopolecode is currentrownumber scrolllevel. For example 1. I have scrollarea level 1 on page and show row number of record in scroll area level 1 by peoplecode at below picture. GetCompIntfc CompIntfc. Value; End-For. If I try to save this, App Designer says Any is not an object type, so cannot have a default method. Looks like I solved the fetching part.
Now I just need to figure out the syntax to load columns that are part of a record that is a property of a CI for the purpose of SAVE. The first statement is for context. Should the second statement work to set the value of a field in a record that is a property of a CI? So that is not helpful.
Open the CI in appdesigner. There should be two windows, on the left a tree-structure of the data buffer, on the right a list of properties.
Getting Data from Standalone RowSet in AE
Your level 1 record would appear as a collection. From that collection you select an item. From the item you select a property which matches to the record. I read that you can drag a Record from the left pane to the right pane, which makes that Record not just a Field a property. I want to enter data into all the fields of this property and then do a SAVE.
Value; …. I think you need to take a step back first. How would you do this manually? What navigation would you use. When you get there would you be going in add mode, or update display.

Once you are in the component how would you navigate to the fields that you want to change. Once you have changed the fields what else would you want to do. Once you have these real world steps mapped out you can look at your CI. The CI instantiates a data buffer for you, but only allows you to manipulate those parts of it that you have attached a property to. Just as you can have a hidden field on a screen so that the user cannot modify it, but PeopleCode can.
No Property pointing to the object means the CI cannot directly change the object. In your case you are going to need as a minimum the Level 0 buffer search keys, the level 1 record as a collection, the level 2 record as a collection and the level 2 fields that you want.
You cannot just drag the level 2 in by itself. Let me be sure I understand this. Search for the Level 0 record. How do I get a collection of these? Is that correct? Do I then have to do FindKeys for Level 1 to get another collection of records? Then, finally createKeys when I get to the Level 2?
The Level 2 record is a problem to find because the delivered record has four key fields and my input only matches on three of those. If you think about what you do as a human enter the search key values, click the search button, look at the page, browse the grid, zero-in on the row of interestthis is what the CI allows you to do programatically. It would be nice if there was a PeopleBook with a robust example of doing something like this.
How do i determine that? How would you do this through the front end — assume you have NO database access, just a printout of the file and a logon. This chapter provides an overview of component buffer structure and contents and discusses how to:.
PeopleCode frequently must refer to data in the component buffer, the area in memory that stores data for the currently active component. The two methods for specifying a piece of data in the component buffer from within PeopleCode are:. Contextual references, which refer to data relative to the location of the currently executing PeopleCode program. References using scroll path syntax, which provide a complete, or absolute, path through the component buffer to the referenced component.
In addition to the built-in functions used to access the component buffer, PeopleCode provides enhanced access to structured data buffers using the object syntax. Use the object-oriented PeopleCode to resolve contextual ambiguities when you reference a nonprimary record field that appears on more than one scroll level in a component.
As with built-in functions, object syntax provides for both relative and absolute references to component buffer data. PeopleCode can reference buffer fields associated with page controls and other buffer fields from the primary scroll record and related display records.
See Record Fields and the Component Buffer. Primary scroll records are the principal SQL tables or views associated with page scroll levels. A primary scroll record uniquely identifies a scroll level in the context of its page: each scroll level can have only one primary scroll record, and the same primary scroll record cannot occur on more than one scroll area at the same level of the page.
Parent-child relations between primary scroll records determine the dependency structure of the scroll areas on the page. The primary record on a level one scroll area must be a child of the primary record on level zero, the primary record on a level two scroll area must be a child of the primary record on its enclosing level one scroll area, and the primary record on a level three scroll area must be a child of the primary record on its enclosing level two scroll area.
Specify a scroll area and row on scroll level one: this selects a subset of dependent rows on level two. PeopleCode component buffer functions use a common scroll path syntax for locating scrolls, rows, and fields in multiple-scroll pages.
Rowsets enable more consistent, more convenient, and less ambiguous manipulation of buffer data than previous built-in functions could achieve. A rowset can contain the entire contents of a component buffer, or the contents of any lower-level scroll area plus all of its subordinate buffer data. The hierarchical structure of component levels—scroll area, row, record, field—is provided by the new object data types, Rowset, Row, Record, and Field. You can access any rowset, row, record, or field within the buffer using the dot notation inherent in PeopleTools 8 object-oriented programming.
This enables you to reference fields within a record object, records within a row object, and rows within a rowset object as properties of the parent objects. Accessing the Data Buffer.

I ate my normal meals, but changed up some things like swapping rice for just vegetables. My workout routine was mainly cardio with a little arm workout at least 3 times a week for 45 mins. I am fitting into my clothes much better than before (e. AlisonI started this teatox for the primary reason to hopefully get all the junk out of my system, look less bloated, and feel more confident. The only thing I changed with my diet was trying to eat LESS junk (2 pieces of pizza instead of 4), and keeping up with the teas every day.
I also rebrewed the night tea on the nights that a new one wasn't due. It helped restrict me from going for wine every other night. I preferred it iced. I drank more that way. I highly recommend and have already bought it for my mom. I'll be doing it again for sure Buy Now Join the 1.
